Control and sharing

Consent history

Knowing who has seen your information – and when – is a basic right. CareFile keeps a clear consent history so you can review every sharing decision and revoke access when it's no longer appropriate.

What is included

  • Full log of sharing decisions
  • Date and time of each consent
  • What information was shared
  • With whom it was shared
  • Active, expired, and revoked access records

Why it matters

Transparency as a default

You should always be able to see who has access to your information. CareFile records every consent event so nothing is invisible or forgotten.

Useful after relationship changes

When a provider relationship ends, the consent history makes it clear what access was granted and confirms it has been revoked.

Supports complaints and disputes

If there is ever a question about who accessed your information and when, the consent history provides a clear, timestamped record.
